This is a tremendous Jacobin!
He is bred from a powerhouse red cock and one of my most elegant, tall, glassy feathered black hens. He was a late bred and has turned into one of the better birds I bred in 2022. He offers so much in the way of chain extension and top feather and overall feather wealth and he has a nice slender body. I chose him as the mate for my Black hen #393 that was Best Black at the National. From them I bred both blacks and red straws that will find their way into my 2024 breeding program.
Don't be afraid to use this guy back on Blacks or reds. He will carry a real genetic punch to kickstart any program. |
